In 2001, Tyler Fastpitch was founded by Christy Allen who generously gave of her time and money to allow the girl's of Tyler to play softball. The league started with 25 girls and quickly grew. Anthony Springer became president and has battled the city of Tyler for a better, safer place to play softball. In 2009 with the help of Mayor Barbara Bass, a new complex was born in South Tyler at Faulkner Park. That's when Rose Country Girl's Softball was born. RCGSA felt that a new softball park deserved a new league name.
In 2015 we joined with Canton, Brownsboro, Edgewood, Athens, Palestine and Whitehouse. Doing this will allow our girls to play more and to become stronger teams.
WHitehouse and Tyler will play against each other. Then on to district. Each city will host a District tournament.
2017 a new board was formed.
